Join us is in making a difference at Highgate Wood School. We know that when parents and carers get involved, great things happen.

Who are the PSA?

The Highgate Wood School’s Parent School Association is an organisation formed by the parents and carers of the students currently at Highgate Wood School. Every parent and carer automatically becomes a member of the PSA when their child joins the school.

We raise money to help the school pay for things it can’t afford. Mostly, we do that by organising events for the school community, which not only help to bring us together but also give parents and carers an opportunity to put money in the pot by buying tickets and spending money, make valuable investments in the school, and have FUN in the process.

We try to run at least one event per term and we try to make them as engaging and accessible as possible.

MADFest, Curry & Quiz and the Winter Auction, are long-standing favourites, but we are always on the lookout for new ideas and opportunities, so please get in touch with us if you have an idea you’d like to share.

Volunteer with the PSA

Join us is in making a difference at Highgate Wood School. We know that when parents and carers get involved, great things happen. It’s more than just showing up (although we really appreciate that too)— it’s about building connections, sharing ideas, and helping our whole school community thrive. Everyone involved in the Highgate Wood School PSA, including the committee is a volunteer, so we always need help, and we are hoping you will want to get involved. The PSA would not work if we did not have parents willing to give up a little bit of their time to help us.

Volunteer at events

You can join our Volunteers List to receive requests for help at events. Signing up to the volunteer list does not commit you to anything but does mean you are aware of what opportunities there are to support the PSA. We’ll usually put out an appeal for volunteers for a specific event, via email and WhatsApp. Our key need is for MADFest – even half an hour of your time can be put to good use!

Volunteer on the committee

If you have more time and would like to become more involved, consider joining the Highgate Wood School PSA Committee. We are interested in hearing new suggestions and ideas and are keen to welcome new Highgate Wood School PSA Committee members – it’s a great way to feel more involved in School life, and to make friends across year groups!
