Trips & Events

The PSA contributes to school trips and special events throughout the year. Recent contributions include:

  • The Year 7 Team Building Day, an annual event for the new pupils to help them settle in, which provides a crucial opportunity for them to relax, have fun and mingle, encouraging friendship, increasing confidence and enhancing teacher-pupil relationships.
  • Supporting the Year 10 Duke of Edinburgh expedition by providing funds to purchase durable rucksacks, sleeping bags and camping equipment, which enables staff to accompany the kids as well equipping those children who need financial support, this year and in years to come.

Facilities & Equipment

We fund new facilities and equipment for the school. Recent contributions include:

  • New amps for the Music Department, which are used not only for big performances at MADFest and the Winter Concert, but also for every day practice by pupils, who are encouraged to use the practice rooms at lunchtimes and outside school hours.
  • Kitting out the HWS football teams in new strips which may or may not have contributed to the U18 boys’ team position as Middlesex Cup Winners and the U15 girls being named Haringey champions in March 2025!

Clubs & extra curricular

We support school clubs and extra curricular activities. Recent contributions include:

  • Making trampolining available as an activity to more pupils, more frequently, thanks to an investment in trampolining training courses for staff. We’re happy to have helped the PE department reach new heights!
  • Paying some of the start-up costs of a new extra-curricular club for Manga fans.
  • Helping with the cost of transport for a pupils’ trip to a Cotswolds Farm.
  • New equipment for Patball, a playground game, to encourage socialising and active play during breaktimes.
